Safe Nationwide Delivery
When a puppy is purchased
from an area that requires shipping, rest assured that the
airlines are very safe and ultimately monitored.
There are very strict
guidelines required by not only the shipper but the airlines
themselves.
Each pet that is
transported must have a valid current certificate of health
and must state in addition at what temperatures the specific
animal is required to travel at. This is
determined by a qualified veterinarian that has examined the
pet animal thoroughly with travel in mind. The veterinarian
also determines if the animal is healthy for travel, in fact
in most cases the examination is more thorough than a routine
visit.
When live animals are
delivered to the airlines, the travel carrier is inspected,
the bedding inside is inspected and the animal itself is
inspected to assure that there is optimal space for the animal
to stand and turn around within the carrier.
Who could resist the charms
of a puppy? The animals are treated with care and
reassured while they are being handled. The airlines
personnel are not allowed to open the carriers nor are they
allowed to "change" bedding or give the animals food items,
they are allowed however to coo and talk to them making their
experience as pleasant as possible.
Loose items are not allowed
by airline services inside the carriers with the exception of
bedding and each carrier is required to supply feed cups in
case of emergencies. The carriers are measured and
weighed for the safety of the animal.
